The CloudEvents API is a vendor-neutral specification for event data in cloud-based platforms. CloudEvents is designed to ease event declaration and delivery across services. This platform sends JSON formatted responses, and requires the use of REST verbs. Version 0.2 supports various transport mappings and bindings, specifically for AMQP 1.0, MQTT 3.1.1 and 5.0, and NATS as well as several SDK specs.
