The Dailyplaces API allows creation of POIs, comments and status updates as well as managing a user‘s follower lists. It can also be used to find POIs by date, location, author and other criteria.
By making its API public, Dailyplaces enables developers to build applications on top of the Dailyplaces platform. The API allows creation of POIs, comments and status updates as well as managing a user‘s follower lists. It can also be used to find POIs by date, location, author and other criteria. Possible applications include plugins for blog software like Wordpress to integrate your POIs into your blog, or web sites or mobile apps focussing on specific topics that can benefit from location based micro blogging.
The API uses a RESTful interface and currently, JSON and XML are supported.
The following is a list of sample source code snippets that matched your search term. Source code snippets are chunks of source code that were found out on the Web that you can cut and paste into your own source code. Whereas most of the sample source code we've curated for our directory is for consuming APIs, we occasionally find something interesting on the API provider side of things. If you know of some sample source code that would be of interest to the ProgrammableWeb community, we'd like to know about it.
