[The functionality of this API is split between the DataSift Websockets profile and the DataSift HTTP Streams profile. This profile is being maintained for historical and research purposes.]
The DataSift Streaming API offers a high-throughput way to receive curated data from DataSift. With this API you can capture information in real time. It's useful for working with a continuous stream that has no defined end to ensure that you capture all the messages in a stream, without missing any. Open a connection between your client and DataSift's streaming API, send one or more requests for data from a stream, and close the connection when you're done. The API can be accessed via HTTP or Websockets.
The Streaming Endpoint is: https://stream.datasift.com/ and the Websockets Endpoint is wss://stream.datasift.com/
DataSift provides state-of-the-art technology that allows you to capture, analyze and act on all the types of Human Data, without compromising consumer trust.
