T-Coffee (Tree-based Consistency Objective Function For alignmEnt Evaluation) is a program that performs multiple sequence alignments on DNA, RNA, and protein sequences. It can then provide output based on the similarities between those results. The T-Coffee API provided by the European Bioinformatics Institute makes these functions available through SOAP and REST protocols.
