It uses Natural Language Processing to extract food entities from unstructured text. This includes features that search for a food by given nutrient quantity, brand, keyword, name or UPC/Barcode. It allows you to source nutrition facts for a given food, like macro and micro nutrients, allergen labels and more. Edamam builds nutrition analysis applications that powers nutrition for food, health and wellness companies.
