EMBOSS Seqret API - How To

The EMBOSS Seqret API can read and write sequences of protein, DNA, and RNA. Developers can use this API to extract sequences from databases, display sequences, reformat sequences, produce the reverse complement of a sequence, extract fragments of a sequence, and more. Sequences can be submitted to the API in GCG, FASTA, EMBL (Nucleotide only), GenBank, PIR, NBRF, PHYLIP, or UniProtKB/Swiss-Prot (Protein only) format. The API is available in both RESTful and SOAP versions, and responses are formatted in XML.
