Envirofacts is a service of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. It provides search access to multiple environmental databases which may include data on such things as toxic chemical releases, water discharge permit compliance, hazardous waste handling processes, Superfund status, and air emission estimates, among others.
The Envirofacts API uses the REST and SOAP protocols and returns responses in XML, CSV, and Excel formats.
