GoodData is a business intelligence service that lets users create dashboards to get a view of the entire business: from sales to marketing, operations, finance or HR data. The GoodData API provides access to much of the GoodData functionality, including infrastructure, data connections and analytics.
I really like playing around with cutting edge technologies. One of them is GoodData CloudConnect, the tool for ETL and building GoodData projects. Since we released this new feature, I have dozens of ideas how the data from various sources can be easily transformed in the cloud. Recently, for example, I found myself wondering: "How about using the Google BigQuery API as a data source? What about visualizing the data from it in GoodData?"
Telephony platform Twilio is now giving developers more insight into their application activities. Now users of the Twilio Voice API and Twilio SMS API have the option to view usage patterns, thanks to a partnership with GoodData. The dashboard shows the last 90 days of call and text volumes, with the option to explore the data further.
