The Google Compute Engine Autoscaler API allows developers to automatically scale the Google Compute Engine's virtual machine resources in response to varying loads. This allows developers to support increased traffic when necessary and to save costs by using fewer resources when demand decreases. The autoscaler operates based on an autoscaling policy defined by the developer. This service is still in Beta and may be subject to backward-incompatible changes.
