Google Font API - Articles

The Google Font API helps developers add web fonts to any web page. The advantages of the Google Font API include: a choice of high quality open source fonts, works in most browsers, and is easy to use. Include this by adding a special stylesheet link to your HTML document, then refer to the font in a CSS style. A library of fonts is available in the Google Font Directory. The WebFont Loader is a JavaScript library that gives you more control over font loading than the Google Font API provides. The WebFont Loader also lets you use multiple web-font providers. It was co-developed by Google and TypeKit.
