The service provides order management for online purchases. It accepts submission of order information, then verifies product availability and buyer's credit status. Inventory management functions allow for reorders from prior purchases, immediate and deferred purchases, and related transactions that anticipate future availability. API methods support processing of purchase information and payment for immediate purchases. Methods also support checks against customer authorization, credit limits, and other seller purchase policies. The API handles orders associated with dealers and sales representatives for proper commission payments and reduced-price employee purchases.
