The IBM Watson AlchemyLanguage API provides 12 text analysis functions that add high-level semantic information to text using natural language processing. These functions include entity extraction, sentiment analysis, keyword extraction, concept tagging, relation extraction, taxonomy classification, author extraction, language detection, text extraction, microformats parsing, feed detection, and linked data support.
