The IBM Watson Language Translation API uses statistical machine translation techniques to provide domain-specific translations. They currently offer three domains that can translate between a total of seven languages. The Conversational and News domains can provide translations between English and Arabic, Brazilian Portuguese, French, and Spanish. The Patent domain can provide translations between English and Brazilian Portuguese, Chinese, Korean, and Spanish.

The IBM Watson .Net SDK by Watson Developer Cloud allows developers to integrate the IBM Watson API into their .Net applications. Developers will need to have .NET Core installed as well as either Visual Studio for Windows or Visual Studio Code for OSX or Linux.
