The iNaturalist API allows developers to integrate wildlife sighting data into their applications. iNaturalist.org is a website that allows naturalists, scientists, and citizens to record, share, and discuss their wildlife observations with others. iNaturalist hosts more than 2 million observations of more than 80,000 species around the world and is administered by the California Academy of Sciences.
