The Moonsighting Hijri Date API allows developers to get the current Hijri date based on the visibility of the moon. Unlike most apps that use the calculated visibility or non-visibility of the moon, Moonsighting uses the actual sighting of the moon by the human eye. This API can return data in HTML, CSS, CSV, and JSON.
Fifteen APIs have been added to the ProgrammableWeb directory in categories including Location, B2B, and Home Automation. Highlights include an API that identifies people from their gaits, an API for generating fake data, and an API for StackPath secure edge cloud interactions.
