The Mozilla Web Activities API allows an application to delegate the performance of tasks, such as image selection or email forwarding, to another application chosen by the user. Developers use the API to provide interfaces for implementing seamless transfer of tasks from the app that delegates an activity to the one that handles the task. The API is currently compatible with only Firefox OS.
