The National Cancer Institute (NCI) is seeking to optimize patients’ and oncologists’ accessibility to cancer clinical trials program by developing innovative information and learning platforms. The organization is developing the National Cancer Institute Clinical Trials API facilitate cancer research stakeholders – scientists, advocacy groups, and the academic sphere – to build useful digital tools, resources, and applications that will expedite the adoption of tailored clinical trial information solutions in target communities. The API conveys requests and responses in JSON format. It is currently a beta release.
