The Open New York Transit Subway Entrance And Exit Data API is a service part of the State of New York's data.ny.gov open data initiative. This API provides access to a dataset including varying information fields pertaining to subway station entrances and exits. Accessible information includes the corresponding station name, division, line, and exact longitude and latitude coordinates for these subway terminals. The dataset is also filterable using any of these variables. The API can be accessed through HTTP communication, and available response types include JSON, XML, and CSV. The documentation features a live testing interface to run example requests. All requests must posses an app token in order to be authenticated.
The following is a list of sample source code snippets that matched your search term. Source code snippets are chunks of source code that were found out on the Web that you can cut and paste into your own source code. Whereas most of the sample source code we've curated for our directory is for consuming APIs, we occasionally find something interesting on the API provider side of things. If you know of some sample source code that would be of interest to the ProgrammableWeb community, we'd like to know about it.
