The openBmap API returns GPS coordinates and polygon of the considered cellular zone. openBmap is a free and open map of wireless communicating objects (e.g. cellular antenna, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth). It provides tools to mutualize data, create and access this map. With the API users can get the GPS position from cellular networks Cell id. If the cell is not found in the database, it returns LAC data. If the LAC is not found in the database, it returns the MNC data. The API uses RESTful protocol and responses can be formatted in either XML, JSON or TXT.
The following is a list of sample source code snippets that matched your search term. Source code snippets are chunks of source code that were found out on the Web that you can cut and paste into your own source code. Whereas most of the sample source code we've curated for our directory is for consuming APIs, we occasionally find something interesting on the API provider side of things. If you know of some sample source code that would be of interest to the ProgrammableWeb community, we'd like to know about it.
