The service provides access to a database of over 50 million permanent change-of-address (COA) requests registered with the U.S. Postal Service. It processes raw output from the USPS NCOALink service, updated weekly, and makes it available for comparison with current address records. Where a mailing list contains an old address, the service can provide updated mailing information allowing direct mail and other communications to follow past contacts to their new locations.
API methods support submission of at least 100 address records for comparison against old addresses listed in USPS COA requests. Where a match is found, the API returns a validated new address for the recipient to be updated in the calling application's records. Methods also allow reporting on the number of addresses updated and their validation status.

This list represents on combination of both tutorial types and if you go to ProgrammableWeb's API University, you'll not only be able to find more, they are organized based on your role (API providers or developers who consumes APIs).
