The Slack Incoming Webhooks API allows developers to post messages to Slack from their apps. Developers will need to create a Slack app, enable incoming webhooks, and create an incoming webhook before they can use the incoming webhook URL to post messages. Messages are sent as a JSON payload and support all of Slack's markup and attachment capabilities.
