This application provides HTTP endpoints to retrieve reports for users' payments, refunds, and settlements. It also allows to manage merchant's items. Square continued its move beyond payments into ecommerce in general by announcing its Orders API. The Orders API allows developers to build solutions that allow customers to place orders online, in-person, and in-app. Orders can be sent to other Square products or centralized POS systems.
Square has announced the release of a software development kit that provides developers with all the tools necessary to accept payments in their applications via Square. The In-App Payments SDK is available for iOS, Android, and Flutter.
Square has launched the Register API for Android only a couple of months after releasing the API for iOS. The API allows developers to build end to end point-of-sale solutions that utilize Square's entire payment platform, or that integrate with third party infrastructure and applications.
