The StrikeIron Mobile Email Messaging Web Service enables an email message to be delivered to a mobile telephone programmatically. The Mobile Email Messaging Web Service is similar to StrikeIron's Global SMS Pro Web service, but at a much lower cost. Use this service if you know the provider of the mobile number, or combine it with Global SMS Pro for a list where you know some providers, and not others! Any Web site, application, intranet, or XML-enabled device can take advantage of this Web service to send an email message. This can be used for alerting, monitoring, calls to action, data-driven notifications, and many other scenarios in which you want to communicate with a mobile phone in an automated or non-automated manner.
