TradeHill provides an online tool that allows users to freely buy and sell the decentralized internet commodity known as Bitcoin. The Trading API allows developers to interact their applications directly with TradeHill. The functions available are broken up into two groups: Public Data Functions which do not require users to authenticate, and Trading Functions which require authentication data to be specified along with the request. The API uses RESTful calls and responses are formatted in JSON and JSONP.
