The US 2016 Elections API provides access to a data bank of up-to-date profiles and other crucial information of candidates contesting political seats in the forthcoming elections. Powered by a dynamodb-driven AWS lambda information storage function, this RESTful API supports HTTP requests and JSON responses. It is a free platform that is already out as a well-documented and fully-supported release.
