Developers can use the API to generate lists of VAT-registered companies in specific locations such as towns, cities, or streets. The API also supports the use of the VIES service in the verification of known VAT particulars of companies. It conveys requests in JSON, XML, and SOAP formats.
The current version of the API is accessible fro free without usage restrictions, although users have the option of purchasing it from Apple App Store or Amazon App Store.
