W3C Device Memory Native/Browser API v0.5 - How To

The W3C Device Memory API is a HTTP Client Hint header to surface device capability for memory. It allows you to enable web apps to customize content depending on device memory constraints. Some uses include; Serves light version of the site or specific components for low-end devices, Serves Google "search lite" search results page used in EM, Serves a light version of a video player in Facebook and more. The API provides a way to normalize metrics that can be a useful signal for determining "device-class". The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) is an international community where Member organizations, a full-time staff, and the public work together to develop Web standards.
