The W3C Encrypted Media Extensions API is a specification for an API that controls the playback of encrypted content by extending the HTMLMediaElement interface from HTML5. It defines an API for discovering, selecting, and interacting with content protection or Digital Rights Management systems as well as similar encryption systems. This API supports use cases that range from simple clear key decryption to high value video.
Fifteen APIs have been added to the ProgrammableWeb directory in categories including Air Travel, Messaging, DevOps, Booking and others. Featured today is an API for 3D map platform Melown, and and API for Line social network-like messaging platform. Here's a rundown of the latest additions.
