WebGL Earth provides a mechanism for inserting interactive maps into webpages without the use of additional plugins. These maps are viewable from any platform, including mobile devices. Webpage visitors can rotate and zoom in or out on the globe, or even tilt the viewing angle. WebGL Earth can display existing maps from other mapping services as well as custom map tiles for Earth or other planets.
