This JSON API allows you to retrieve and manipulate whois login content using HTTP requests. Not all log-on pages are hosted by the same domain. WhoisLogin's domain name lookup service will search all available whois results for the domain name registration information of the owner. By verifying login page ownership and matching it with your expectations of the service provider, you can keep your log in credentials from being exposed to fraudulent or spoofed websites. The WhoisLogin API provides a simple, consistent external interface who retrieving login whois, and, creates a stable, understandable internal implementation of logins.
Requests use a simple REST-style HTTP GET or POST. To invoke the API, include a non-empty query value for JSON in the URL. Documentation covers a variety of specific use cases for several vendors.
The following is a list of sample source code snippets that matched your search term. Source code snippets are chunks of source code that were found out on the Web that you can cut and paste into your own source code. Whereas most of the sample source code we've curated for our directory is for consuming APIs, we occasionally find something interesting on the API provider side of things. If you know of some sample source code that would be of interest to the ProgrammableWeb community, we'd like to know about it.
