William Hill is provider of online sports betting and other forms of gambling solutions. The William Hill Sessions API supports the deployment of a central authentication service (CAS) whenever accessing resources through customer accounts or betting portals. It is particularly useful when a developer has to login a customer to be able to apply the API in the customer’s acount. A developer must provide a sportbook username and password to be able to acquire an authentication ticket for accessing most of the requests associated with the API. The API provider restricts all API requests to HTTPS alongside API key and secret code. The API’s authentication ticket automatically expires after eight hours.
