Google has been regularly updating the Google Ad Manager API and this week brings news of additional changes. This latest update provides developers with new metrics for Programmatic Guaranteed and Preferred Deals. The company made the change to increase uniformity of reporting metrics.
Google announced that on April 1, Google Ads API will stop creation of App engagement campaigns for any app in a prohibited category. As of now, developers can create App engagement campaigns for apps in any category. The only current limitation is that prohibited category apps cannot serve ads.
