AI

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is software programmed to mimic human thought processes, choices, and actions. AI employs trained Machine Learning algorithms to establish such intelligence. Modern AI examples include text identification, speech recognition, sentiment analysis, and object recognition. AI is actively being developed and implemented within everything from industrial, civil, to consumer software and electronics. [DB Comments... feel free to steal: How about something about practical uses of AI.. for example... once it has been trained by machine learning, how it can pore over the subject of it's analysis (a giant database or a speech sample) and, because it's a machine, can arrive accurate conclusion more quicky than humans can. Amazon for example cannot employ millions of people to listen in on (and recognize) the commands that Alexa uses are barking at their devices. An artificial intelligence algorthim performs this task instead. In other words, AI is at work in every Alexa interaction. From an API point of view, many AI capabilities can now be incorporated into applications by way of an API.]
