Code Repository

Code Repository, often shortened to "Repo," is a place that stores clips of code in an organized fashion. Open-source and multi-developer projects utilize code repositories to archive source code, assist with version control, monitor commits, and collaborate on software development. Code Repositories use a standardized source control system such as Git, Mercurial, or Subversion. There are many source code repository hosts, such as Github, Bitbucket, or Gitlab.
