Formdata

Formdata refers to user-inputted data sent along with an API request. Many web applications must enable users to input data or modify data on the server-side. To do so, developers can program a web page to accept text or file input as a form, and then send this information along with a server request. Formdata can be structured as key-value pairs. Key-value pairs, also known as attribute-value pairs, look like "Name: David," or "Company: ProgrammbleWeb." A formdata object can also include files. Using a formdata object (also formatted as formData, form-data), an application can make a web request to update information on a server. For example, in JavaScript, a formdata object could be sent using a XMLHttpRequest.send() method to make an HTTP POST request to a specified server.
