Node.js

Node.js is a runtime for JavaScript that allows developers to use JavaScript outside of a browser. JavaScript is a popular programming language designed primarily for front-end, user-facing circumstances. With Node.js, developers can utilize JavaScript for backend, server-side programming as well. There are also many pre-made open-source packages are written for Node.js that developers can use to implement specific features. Node.js is often implemented in real-time, asynchronous situations, like web games. Node.js helps web developers use the same language for both front end and backend. This reduces duplication and makes web development more unified under a common language.
