Portal

A Developer Portal is an online center where developers can learn how to use a software product. A Developer Portal may include various pages to display information like documentation, code samples, forums, API keys, support channels, changelogs, blogs, sandboxes, and other programming resources. Developers who code with an API will visit a provider's Developer Portal to keep track of their integration. Developer Portals may enable users to monitor their account's API request volumes in a dashboard view, or add payment information for paid services. Some API providers construct Developer Portals from scratch. Others utilize software libraries to generate a Developer Portal from an API specification. There are also paid products and API management vendors that create Developer Portals. Developer Portals are useful for all types of scenarios, including internal and external teams, partners, and external-facing software services.
