Single purpose API
When planning an event, aside from all the fun stuff like the programme, the décor and the like, the bottom line is getting people to turn up; and no-one's going to make an appearance if they don't even know it exists. So marketing the event is key, and that's where evvnt comes in. It's an online event marketing service that focuses on getting the word out there by broadcasting and publishing a user's event to multiple event listing sites. The evvnt API makes this functionality available to be integrated with other sites and applications.
Facebook is a great tool for being able to go back and reminisce of good times with your friends and everything else that's happened in your life. Pretty cool stuff, that Facebook. YearlyLeaf not only agrees, but figured that the moments of your life are important enough to get in print using the Facebook API.
The Swipp API allows developers to integrate Swipp's "Social Intelligence" into their sites and applications. Public information is not available on the API; interested parties are asked to email firstname.lastname@example.org. Once available the APIs will "make it possible for people to interact around any topic imaginable."
