The Associated Press Ruby library loads election data from the AP into MySQL. This code has been used by The Huffington Post since the 2012 with the main goal to obtain fast results of the AP's FTP server and into MySQL. The author clarifies that this repository is not affiliated with the AP. Developers should have a contract with AP and an account on the FTP server to use the code. Jay Boice authored in 2014.
