Many a man (or woman) holds a deep passion for a good brew, and when faced with beer-themed conversation, would probably have a lot to say on the matter. So, where better to invest some time and intellect than an online community of enthusiasts, dedicated to all things beer? TheBeerSpot is just that - a place where the every day beer drinker, home brewers and people in the industry can connect and share anything beer related. TheBeerSpot API is available so that this data can be displayed or used on other websites or applications.
According to a post from a Google engineer, intended to be private to the search giant's employees, the Google+ API was not ready at launch. Google's Steve Yegge also badmouthed the read-only, public API. When the company's new service was only two weeks old, I wondered whether the Google+ API was intentionally late. Maybe it was just truly late.
Shoudio is an amusing iOS application made to tag places with audio snippets. These can be anything a user imagines, and a lot of fun could be had with this. For example, integrating this into Geocaching could be a lot of fun, allowing things like audio hints to help Geocachers find the cache. However, the developers of Shoudio didn't want it limited to just one platform, so they released a Shoudio API to allow clients for other platforms, and fun mashups.
