BitlyDotNET is a 3rd party .NET wrapper for the Bit.ly API. The client library can be used to shorten URLs with the API. Currently on version 0.0.6, the library is not officially supported by Bit.ly but is endorsed for use on their developer site.

Prosperent (quickly growing ad network) and CloudFlare (content delivery network focused on low touch app launches) have announced a partnership aimed at quickly monetizing websites without complicated development work. The partnership is simple, seems obvious, and should intrigue developers across many markets. Twitter recently announced what developers have been expecting since at least its Chirp conference. Links posted to Twitter will soon be passed through the company's own link shortener, t.co. It could be bad news for other services built to fill the link shortening need, such as Bit.ly (our Bit.ly API profile).
