BitlyDotNET is a .NET wrapper written in C# for interacting with Bit.ly, the URL shortener service. Though not directly supported by Bit.ly, Bit.ly endorses this code library on their developer site. The Bit.ly API allows developers to implement programmatic shortening, sharing, and tracking of links (URLs). Unique user-level and aggregate links can also be created to let users view complete, real-time traffic and referrer data, as well as location and metadata.
Government data specialist GovTribe has released a beta version of its GovTribe API. The API grants users access to the procurement data that powers GovTribe’s popular iPhone app, iPad app and custom reports. The API allows seamless access to government data across 130 federal agencies.
