By 2015 SAP aims to have has one billion people interact with some piece of the company’s software. The folks at SAP are not saying where there are now in terms of achieving that goal, but as part of achieving that goal SAP has been releasing a raft of applications that one would not normally associate with a provider of enterprise applications.

FaxLogic is an enterprise level, cloud-based fax service that modernises the functionality of a normal fax machine by combining the convenience, features and benefits of analog fax, internet fax and fax servers. Ultimately, the aim is to provide businesses with a cost-effective and streamlined solution. FaxLogic provides the FaxLogic API that allows secure programmatic access to FaxLogic services and online message repositories.
It’s no secret that Dell placed a big bet on software companies in the last few years. The hard part will be pulling all the assets together under a shared integrated framework. The company is working through the first phases of that effort now, according to Dell Software president John Swainson.
