When it comes to design, it can often be quite tricky to get designer and client to agree 100% or even just be on the same page with regards to the direction of the project. Unless communication is streamlined and completely clear from the start, the project can run into a number of disasters, not to mention becoming costly and more time consuming than necessary. Osmosis is a web application that serves as a kind of questionnaire and design brief to help creatives save time at the very start of a project. The Osmosis API is available for developers to integrate this functionality with other applications.
The SupportBee API is REST with response format in JSON that supplies help desk ticket software for customer service, service that is provided by human responses. With the API, developers can create new applications that integrate SupportBee into their software. Tickets can be created, retrieved, searched, archived and unarchived, assigned to a user or group, starred for later follow up, and marked for spam. Users of the company (who respond to the tickets) are confirmed.
Captricity, dedicated to transforming data trapped on paper into digital form, announced the public release of its API. Originally, customers accessed Captricity's technology via a web portal. In August, Captricity launched a beta API. Over the past few months, Captricity enhanced its API under the Code for America Accelerator program (one of seven startups to qualify for the honor). Captricity announced the API's public availability at Code for America's Demo Day.
