Flickcurl is a library for implementing the Flickr API in C. This library supports the entire Flickr API, including functions for browsing, searching, and uploading photos and videos. It comes with a program called flickrdf that turns a photo's metadata, tags, machine tags, and places into RDF triples descriptions.
There is nothing more satisfying than sharing that once in a lifetime shot with the world, except maybe seeing that it has been viewed by a few thousand people. These kinds of stats have been collected by Flickr for quite some time, and now they are available to developers thanks to some new functions added to the Flickr API.
Google's Photos Library API is now generally available. The API helps developers easily consume and use photos and videos through connecting, uploading, and sharing functionality. While the API is open for use, Google introduced a Google Photos partner program for large integrations.
