New Telenav API and SDK For OpenStreetMap Features Offline Navigation
Sunnyvale-based Telenav has released mobile SDKs for both iOS and Android so developers can power the navigation and location components of their applications with the crowdsourced-based OpenStreetMap. In addition to offering flexibility over styling, the SDKs and APIs are designed to give developers the ability to brand their own maps. According to the company, hybrid online/offline navigation is one of the key differentiators from Google and Apple's mapping services.
