The Google Custom Search Python library by Google can access the search and customization services of the API. With this library, users can call Google APIs in a simple way, handle authorization with less lines of code, use the library with Google App Engine, and use standard tools for installation.
Google said it will follow through on plans announced in 2011 to deprecate several search-related APIs. The company already has a replacement in place for the soon-to-be-defunct APIs. The replacement will help developers add select search functions to their Android mobile apps.
