Did you ever want to have a quick-and-easy way to test-out an API without having to write code? Now with the YouTube API you can. They now offer developers this web-based interactive form which lets you explore and interact with the YouTube API. You can setup and test API calls directly: choose operations, specify parameters, and see the Atom, RSS or JSON results.
Backend-as-a-Service provider Espresso Logic has continued to build on its RESTful API services this week with the launch of the new Live Browser feature. The new service allows enterprise and business customers to first convert any database into an API, and then to create an application “in 30 seconds”. VP of Business Development, Ron Kaplan, talked to ProgrammableWeb about how the new service can be used to prototype and test an API design based on a company’s existing data assets.
GitHub has added several new features to the platform to help make code reviews even faster and more flexible for developers and development teams. The new code review features include pull request files list, commits list, comments with deeper context, and timeline indicator.
