New Integrations and Interface Coming Soon to Ducksboard
Ducksboard, a real-time data monitoring and visualization platform, will be adding new services to the widgets directory and extending existing services in a matter of weeks. The new integrations will include LinkedIn, Flurry, Realtime Google Analytics and Trello. The company is also working on a brand new interface and are planning a closed beta the first quarter of 2014. The Ducksboard platform features the Ducksboard API which allows developers to send their own data, retrieve data stored, and manipulate all objects found in Ducksboard.
NYPL Launches New API Allowing Developers Access to Vast Archives of Digitized Creative Works
Earlier this year, ProgrammableWeb reported that the New York Public Library (NYPL) had launched the What's on the Menu API, the first public API released by the institution. The New York Public Library has just announced the launch of the NYPL Digital Collections API which allows developers programmatic access to the Library's vast collections of digitized creative works including manuscripts, historical maps, rare prints, photographs and much more.
HTC Releases APIs For New 'One' Smartphone
HTC announced the One smartphone this week, its new flagship device for the year. The One is a sequel to last year's well-liked smartphone and ratchets up the sex appeal with an all-aluminum design. Its feature set, which includes a luscious 5-inch HD display, zippy four-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, and shiny metallic colors, will let it compete well against similar phones from other manufacturers. HTC believes developers can plan a role in the One's success, too, with new APIs for the camera and BlinkFeed.
