The red hot startup of late, Pinterest, certainly has a friend in Facebook. Users of the pinning site can sign in with an account from the dominant social network. In a new post, Facebook suggests it's Pinterest's inclusion in Facebook Timeline that is driving its growth.
A brand new iOS messaging/social app called Peach has rocketed in popularity since launching last Friday. A developer has reverse engineered the Peach API and created clients for Swift and Mac. The clients have been posted on GitHub for developers interested in using the undocumented Peach API.
Read-it-later service Instapaper has released what it's calling a "full API." With it, developers using the Instapaper API can create applications that both write to and read from the service. The full API is free to developers, but only paying users can read from their Instapaper account using third-party tools.
